Med en klar og intens rubinrød farve gør Mastrojannis Brunello di Montalcino sig godt i et hvert glas. Næsen er fyldt med frugt der blander sig med vanille og sød tobak. Vinen er fyldig og rund med en lang og behagelig finish.

Vinen lagres på Allier egetræsfade i 36 måneder og yderligere mindst seks måneder på flaske i kælderen hos Mastrojanni inden frigivelsen.

Kan drikkes til vildt, rødt kød og kraftige oste, eller nydes alene fra store vinglas.

Kan drikkes allerede nu, men kan med fordel lagres i mange år frem.

The Mastrojanni 2015 Brunello di Montalcino has a succulent or meaty quality that adds to the overall intensity of the wine. You get rich fruit, baking spice and even a touch of rum cake. The wine is dark and velvety in appearance, and the mouthfeel is robust and concentrated. I love the full-bodied appeal and power of this wine. It has seamlessly captured the spirit of the vintage. Its approach is immediate, and you can enjoy this wine without waiting too much longer. The mouthfeel is lean, snappy and smooth. Fruit comes from a 14.4-hectare vineyard with south-facing exposures and clay soils with lots of broken rock shards. Some 58,000 bottles were released in January 2020.

Good full red. Inviting aromas of red cherry, licorice and black tea leaf. Spicy and rich, with excellent density to the peppery red fruit, licorice and herbal flavors. Finishes lively and clean, with interesting coffee nuances emerging on the creamy, long back end.
